Modem Switchover Unit

The MSU11 redundancy unit provides 1:1 redundancy support for CDOT satellite modems. It has IF interface of 50 to 200 MHz and various data interfaces available as hardware options. RS-485 serial interface is used for communication between the MSU11 and the modems. Independent switching of Transmit and Receive chains possible. Switching options include Automatic (on generation of alarm) or Operator controlled.
